AI Framework
TAOM™ AI Framework
A comprehensive, evolving framework from TRANIVA AG – not a static manual, but a growing, versioned and traceable body of knowledge for the adaptive governance of organisations, teams, architects and AI systems.
Core principle: Organisations create value through their employees. Technology enhances their capabilities. Artificial intelligence complements them. Management supports them. TAOM brings all these elements together.
Six building blocks – 96 canonical chapters
THY · Theory (THY-01…13)
Fundamental questions on organisation, value, work, knowledge, intelligence, decision-making, skills, learning, adaptation, governance and AI.
Open 13 chapters →
OS · Operating System (OS-01…21)
Common mechanisms: corporate principles, metamodels, common language, value, information, knowledge and decision-making systems.
Open 21 chapters →
MGT · Management (MGT-01…12)
Operational management of strategy, organisation, capabilities, knowledge, decisions, processes, resources and performance.
Open 12 chapters →
ARC · Architecture (ARC-01…15)
Structure: business, capability, information, data, application, integration, technology, AI, security and digital twin architecture.
Open 15 chapters →
ENG · Engineering (ENG-01…15)
Analysing, designing, implementing, testing and continuous improvement – including design, analysis, planning, simulation and optimisation.
Open 15 chapters →
TOOL · Tooling (TOOL-01…20)
Digital capabilities and platform requirements – vendor-neutral (defines functionality, not products). Process Studio is located in TOOL-04.

What the framework is based on
👤 People-centred
People before frameworks – with an emphasis on human responsibility in automated systems.
🧩 Methodologically integrated
Combines scientific principles with practical applicability and established industry standards.
📖 Living documentation
Evolves through versioned, traceable updates – with stable chapter IDs for consistent referencing.
🤖 AI-native
Addresses the collaboration between humans, AI co-workers and AI agents within governance structures.
Publication principles & status
All releases are traceable: unique versioning, clear status, affected chapters and documented change logs. The overall architecture and the 96 canonical chapter IDs have been finalised; individual chapters, reference models and practical building blocks are being developed and published in stages.
Canonical chapter IDs
Each normative TAOM chapter has a unique, permanently valid chapter ID. It serves as a uniform reference for the framework, website, diagrams, process models, BPML repository, tool mappings, agents, requirements, controls, tests and implementation guides – irrespective of individual diagrams, tools or projects.
96 main chapters in six parts
THY-01 – THY-13
OS-01 – OS-21
MGT-01 – MGT-12
ARC-01 – ARC-15
ENG-01 – ENG-15
TOOL-01 – TOOL-20
The foreword, articles of association, appendices, practical examples, reference processes, BPML objects, agent skill profiles and implementation guides are not included in this count.
Practical Extensions
In addition to the normative framework, practical building blocks are published.
TAOM Companion
Practical illustrations for staff and project roles – e.g. ‘A day in the life of a key user’, ‘as a process owner’, ‘as a project manager’, in procurement, sales, manufacturing, quality management and in the life of an AI employee.
Reference processes & BPML
Exemplary end-to-end (E2E) processes and repository structures: L0–L4 hierarchy, roles and RACI, systems and transactions, requirements and user stories, risks and controls, tests and evidence, KPIs and feedback loops – with TAOM concept mapping via THY, OS, MGT, ARC, ENG and TOOL IDs.
Agent Skill Profiles
Descriptions of the shared project agents: Companion, Method & Orchestration Agent, Process, Knowledge, Delivery, Collaboration, Application, Quality and Learning Agent.
Tool Mapping & Implementation
Specific mapping of TAOM chapters and capabilities to platforms, integrations, enterprise objects, data ownership, roles, controls and human-in-the-loop rules.
From theory to day-to-day work
The portal does not merely describe TAOM – it demonstrates how the method is applied. Each publication answers at least one of the following questions:
- Which organisational problem is being solved?
- Which TAOM chapter IDs and functions are involved?
- What roles and responsibilities apply?
- What processes and artefacts are required?
- Which tools support implementation – and how does AI help?
- Where do people remain accountable, and how is success measured?
TAOM not only explains how organisations should function – TAOM demonstrates how real organisations systematically evolve.
